I’m a longtime Pokémon fan, competitive battler, and the solo creator behind this entire site. I built this platform because I couldn’t find one tool that did everything: synergy checks, real-time coverage, Showdown exports, AI prompts, and a builder that just worked without signups or clutter.
So I made it myself.
Why This Site Exists
Too many team builders either feel outdated, are too complex, or don’t give you real-time feedback while you build. My goal with BuildPokemonTeam.com is simple:
- Build smarter Pokémon teams, faster, with better insights.
- Support all formats, VGC, OU, mono-type, playthroughs, ROM hacks.
- Make it easy, no logins, no ads in your face, no junk.
And yes, it’s just me behind the curtain: writing, designing, optimizing, and managing this project every day.
